Privacy

This privacy notice covers the website sloptrash.com. In short: it is a plain information site. There are no accounts, no forms, no cookies, no analytics, tracking or advertising services, and nothing is embedded from anyone else. We don’t store anything about you.

2. Hosting and delivery (Cloudflare Pages)

This website is a set of static files delivered by Cloudflare Pages, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. We don’t run a server of our own. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes the connection data needed to deliver it: your IP address, date and time, the address requested, status code and amount of data transferred, your browser’s identifier (user agent) and, where sent, the page you came from (referrer). Without this data the website cannot be delivered.

The purpose is delivering the website, keeping it secure (for example against denial-of-service attacks) and fixing errors; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a secure, fast, working website). Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). We keep no access logs of our own and use no analytics services. How long Cloudflare keeps connection data is up to Cloudflare; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Data may be transferred to the USA. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission, Art. 45 GDPR); in addition, Cloudflare’s data processing agreement includes the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).

3. No cookies, no tracking, no browser storage

This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser (no localStorage, no sessionStorage). There are no analytics, tracking or advertising services and no social media plugins. The “Add more slop” button only changes how the page you have open looks; reload and it’s gone, and none of it is stored or sent anywhere.

4. Fonts, images and scripts

All fonts, images and scripts are served by this website itself. No connection is made to Google Fonts, third-party content delivery networks or any other external service.

5. Links to YouTube, X and siman.lol

This website doesn’t embed any videos or posts, it only links to them. Only when you click such a link does the site open in a new tab, and its provider processes data under its own privacy policy:

• YouTube: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland;
• X: X Internet Unlimited Company, Dublin, Ireland;
• siman.lol, the website of our series SIMAN, with its own privacy notice.

These links don’t tell the other site which page you came from (they are marked “noreferrer”).

6. Contacting us by e-mail

If you write to simon@siman.lol, we process your e-mail address and the content of your message to deal with your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (answering your request); if it concerns your rights under section 7, it is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (our obligation to handle such requests). The mailbox is hosted by our e-mail provider Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, Larnaca 6023, Cyprus, which stores the messages on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). We delete them once your request is dealt with and no statutory retention obligation applies.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21). To do so, write to simon@siman.lol. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

There is no automated decision-making, including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR).
