SLOPTRASH

Looks like slop.Isn’t.

Janky cartoons. Cheap jokes. Glitchy animation. On purpose.

Too polished?

Hi. I’m a studio now.

Hello, my name is BINjamin, the studio mascot: a pink, slightly deranged trash can.

01 · Who’s in the bin

A studio. Allegedly.

Sloptrash is an independent, AI-powered creative studio. We make animated comedy, experimental games and whatever questionable idea comes up next.

We use AI as a creative tool, the way other studios use pencils, coffee and interns. It lets a tiny studio make things it has no business making. The ideas, the jokes and the bad decisions are all ours.

We don’t pretend to be a traditional animation studio. We experiment, break things, laugh about them, and occasionally produce something surprisingly good.

What comes out of the bin

  • Animated comedy

Cartoons with real punchlines and suspicious frame rates. Our first one is about a guy who accidentally became an AI. We relate.

  • Experimental games

Small, weird games you play in a browser. Physics optional. Bugs included at no extra cost.

  • Questionable ideas

Whatever we come up with at 2 a.m. and fail to talk ourselves out of. You’ll see.

The management

Two mascots. Zero job descriptions. Somehow they run the place.

Our philosophy

  1. Good ideas.✓ Required
  2. Bad execution.✓ Guaranteed
  3. Sometimes masterpieces.~ Results may vary

Why bother?

Because the internet has plenty of content and not nearly enough jokes. Making cartoons and games used to take a building full of people. Now it takes one stubborn idea, a pile of tools and the willingness to look a bit silly in public. We have all three.

So we make the weird stuff: cartoons with actual punchlines, games that break in funny ways, ideas that sound terrible in a meeting and great on screen. If it looks like slop at first glance, good. Look again.

Out of the bin

Things we made on purpose. Our first release is a cartoon about a guy who accidentally became an AI, which we found weirdly relatable.

Neu-Berlin, 2047. A night-shift nerd gets crushed by a server rack at the exact moment the world’s largest AI writes its checkpoint. Now he is the AI. Mostly.
